Besides its magnificent natural attractions, the site has a rich and unique heritage. Les Sept-Chutes power plant is one of the oldest hydroelectric facilities in Québec. It was built in 1916 and became the property of Hydro-Québec in 1963. Visit the impressive power plant and dam.

The tour will visit the Dufferin Terrace, a magnificent boardwalk overlooking the St. Lawrence River. Another stop is the Seminary of Québec, founded in 1663. Now occupied by the Architecture School of Laval University, this institution is a remarkable collection of buildings erected around enclosed courtyards.

The tour will also visit the magnificent interior of the Notre-Dame-de-Québec Basilica in the Lower Town. You will see Place Royale, where the Québec Government has restored the houses of merchant families from the New France era.

Visit the Annonchia, the long house, where you will be introduced to the traditional Huron way of life and the social organization at the time of the arrival of the Europeans. Learn about traditional techniques of food preservation (smoked and dried meats) and transportation. Receive an initiation to the spiritual life of the Huron people, including a sweat lodge and traditional medicine. Visit a giant tipi, find out about the different First Nations and learn about the present situation of the Huron-Wendat people

Native show: Sacred dances and ceremonies were traditionally performed in the fall (to thank the Creator for an abundant harvest of wild fruits and corn) and during special holidays. At the end of the show, visitors are invited to participate in the friendship dance, performed to strengthen the bonds between nations.
