Early Registration Promotion

The drawing occurred in May. Selection was made from the registrations received by April 30th. A six-night stay at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac was awarded along with a two-day tour (for two persons) of Hydro-Québec's La Grande-2 Hydroelectric Complex including round-trip flight and lodging. Online registration is closed. Registration opens on-site starting on Sunday, July 13 in Hall 2000 of the Québec City Convention Centre, according to the following hours:

  1. One copy of proceedings in electronic format (delivered on site) is included in the conference registration fee.
  2. The regular registration fee does not include tutorials.
  3. The regular registration fee does not include the awards banquet, lunches, young geoscience professionals luncheon, soccer match, or tours/visits.
  4. You must be an IEEE Member or a CRSS-SCT Member at the time of registration to receive the Member discount. Please visit ieee.org/join or www.crss‑sct.ca for details.

Each attendee must register separately. There will be a CAD $40 fee assessed for chargebacks issued on valid credit card charges. Registration payments must be received by the registration deadline for the rate at which you registered; if payment is not received by the deadline, you will be responsible for the higher rate. Refund policy: Processing fee CAD $40 before May 15, 2014. No refunds after May 15, 2014.

At least one author per paper must register by May 16, 2014. One regular registration can cover at most two papers. One student registration can cover at most one paper. Please enter the paper ID(s) of the paper(s) you will cover with your registration here.

Conditions
  1. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be traded against money
  2. Employees and members of the AdCom or Technical Committees of the IEEE, the IEEE GRSS, CRSS-SCT or the Canadian Remote Sensing Society and their immediate family members as well as Members of the IGARSS 2014 organizing committee are not eligible to win
  3. Winners will be selected from the registrations received by April 30th.
  4. Winners will be informed by email and will need to confirm their acceptance by May 15
  5. Single-day and student registration entries are not eligible to win
  6. The stay at the Chateau Frontenac includes a 6-night stay exclusive of any other fees at the hotel or elsewhere that may be incurred by the participant during his stay
  7. Tours of the LG2 hydroelectric complex will take place on July 21-22 with departure and return from Quebec City. The tour includes airfare, local transportation and hotel.
  8. Winners must be at least 18 years of age at time of registration
  9. Release of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranty
    1. By participating in the contest, entrants and winner agree to release and hold harmless the IEEE, the GRSS, the Conference and its subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, partners, representatives, agents, employees, officers and directors (the "Released Parties"), from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including without limitation, property damage, personal injury (including emotional distress), and/or death, which may occur in connection with preparation for, or participation in, the contest.
    2. Entrants and winner acknowledge that Sponsor has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representations or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize or any component thereof, including, but not limited to, express warranties provided by the supplier of the prize (or any component thereof) or their affiliates.
    3. Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant or Sponsor in connection with the contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Quebec, Entrants hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of said courts and waive any claim of forum non convenience or lack of personal jurisdiction that they may have.
