Call For Demo Sessions

The SLT 2016 program committee is accepting proposals for the demo and toolkit session that will be happing during the workshop. Submissions are encouraged in all areas of spoken language technologies.

Special sessions and challenges organizers are invited to submit two or three pages proposal describing the topic of the special session or challenges to the SLT organizing committee (organizers@slt2016.org). The proposal also should include the information number of expected papers and any request from the organizing committee such as logistics.

Submission Procedure

There are two alternative ways to propose a demo:

Option 1: if the authors has a paper accepted in SLT 2016 and they want to do a demo for this paper. They can just notify the demo chairs at demos@slt2016.org by October 10, 2016.

Option 2: Authors may submit a 1-2 page abstract for demo presentations by October 10. Submit by email to demos@slt2016.org. These will be reviewed by demo chairs and accepted/rejected for presentation. Abstracts should briefly outline the demonstration, including application and system design. Additionally, information should be provided on equipment requirements. Demo applications may optionally include a single video file that exemplifies the results of the work.

Notes: A table, a poster board and power will be provided. There are no fees for demos, but all demo presenters will have to register to SLT 2016.
