Call For Industry Demos

The IEEE ICIP 2021 invites proposals for industry showcase demos to be presented during the conference. The demos can be related to any of the technical areas covered by ICIP and will be held in parallel with the poster sessions of the conference.

Please note that this showcase is intended for research demonstrations by industrial practitioners and researchers. The demos should highlight the technological and research aspects of the work. The goal is to clarify to the audience how to close the gap between research and products. Demos advertising commercial products will not be part of this activity; these may be presented as part of the ICIP exhibition.

Participants are invited to submit 500 words abstract describing the technology being demonstrated, equipment that will be used, and the demo experience. The abstract must clearly explain in what sense the proposed demo is innovative and how it will appeal to the IEEE ICIP audience. Each proposal must contain the demo title, the list of organizers, their affiliations, and the abstract.

Demos should ideally have a presentation and an interactive component. In case a demo cannot be logistically transported, a video of the live demo being performed would be accepted if it conforms to the above requirement. If the demo is associated with a paper submitted or accepted to IEEE ICIP 2021, please provide the corresponding paper ID.

Each demo will be provided with a table, display monitor and electrical power strip. All other equipment needs to be provided by the presenters. You will be responsible for any shipping costs, delivery to and from the conference as well as care of your equipment during the conference. To present the demonstration, at least one person needs to register at ICIP.
