Credit/Debit Card Policy
All arriving Guests will be asked by the Welcoming Guest Service Agent to provide a credit card to guarantee payment and/or cover incidentals. Cash or debit deposits are only accepted from guests who are staying as part of a group rate block. The credit card will be preauthorized for total room & tax plus deposit of $80/night. Guests may still settle the bill with cash or debit on check out if they so choose.

University of British Columbia's Walter Gage Residence
Located only 25 minutes by public transit to downtown Vancouver, UBC offers two types of accommodation for delegates of IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and North American Radio Science Meeting.
ROOM TYPES:
The Gage Standard Single offers a private bedroom in a six-bedroom apartment. Guests share a washroom, lounge with flat-panel TV, breakfast bar and kitchen. Rate: $46.00 + taxes*.
The Gage Premium Single offers a private bedroom in a four-bedroom apartment. Guests share a washroom, lounge with flat-panel TV, breakfast bar and kitchen. Rate: $57.00 + taxes*.
*Taxes: room rates are subject to 5% GST and 8% PST.
RESERVATIONS:
Guests must reserve their accommodation by June 18, 2015 (After this date, reservations will be subject to availability) by calling toll free number 1-888-822-1030 and mention IEEE Antennas and Propagation or click here to reserve your room online.
All rooms must be guaranteed by credit card. Any changes or cancellations to reservations must be received before the 48 hour cancellation policy. After this date, charges will apply.
CHECK-IN:
Check-in is any time after 3:00 PM at the Front Desk of Walter Gage Residence, located at 5959 Student Union Boulevard. The Front Desk is open 24 hours a day. To locate the residence, look for three 17-storey apartment towers. The main entrance is between the towers on the South side of the building.
CHECK-OUT:
Check-out is 11:00 AM. If you require luggage storage after this time, please inquire at the Front Desk.
Please note: no overnight storage is available.
PARKING:
Parking is available for a daily rate of $9.00 + taxes, subject to change, in the parking lot surrounding Walter Gage Residence. Bus parking is available a short walk from the Residence; please let your Sales Representative know in advance if required.
