Each accepted paper must be covered by at least full member/non-member registration by the Camera-Ready deadline, and one registration can cover up to four papers.
Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author or qualified proxy present the paper at the virtual conference, by uploading a video presentation and being present at the corresponding Question and Answer (Q&A) Forum. This Q&A Forum will consist of a public board associated with each paper where attendees may post questions. Questions posted during one week after the scheduled presentation time should be answered within the next 72 hours after posting. Session chairs will monitor the activity of these Q&A sessions and will be asked to report back on situations of inactivity, which will potentially imply the declaration of a no-show. Should this be the case, the paper will not be published by IEEE on IEEE Xplore® or other public access forums, but will still be distributed to conference attendees as conference proceedings and the copyright of these papers will belong to IEEE, unless reclaimed by submitting a request to IEEE. Conference organizers are required to collect attendance records and a list of any non-presented papers and submit to IEEE Signal Processing Society.
Exceptions to this policy will be made by the Technical Program Chair(s) of the conference only if there is evidence that the no-show occurred because of unanticipated events beyond the control of the authors, and every option available to the authors to present the paper was exhausted. The no-show authors may appeal the decision of the Technical Program Chair to the VP-Conferences.
Specific instructions about paper presentation at the virtual ICASSP 2021 will be emailed to the authors of accepted papers.
All registration fees covering a paper are non-refundable.
All conference transactions shall be in US Dollars.
The conference accepts payment by credit cards, check and bank transfer. Attendees not using credit cards must forward a check or money order payable to IEEE ICASSP 2021 and drawn on a US bank or a US branch of an International bank for the total registration amount in US Dollars. There will be a USD $50 fee assessed for returned checks or for chargebacks issued on valid credit card charges. Registration payments must be received by the registration deadline for the rate at which you registered; if payment is not received by the deadline, your linked paper(s) will be removed from the technical program and proceedings.
If you have any questions about registering, please contact the ICASSP 2021 registrar at +1-979-846-6800 or by email to registration@2021.ieeeicassp.org.
